MOURA, PORTUGAL 2013
The building serves as a night shelter for city buses. The bus stop remains on the western side. Inside, it will be possible to stop an inter city bus, comprising auxiliary spaces such as the waiting room for passengers and the storage space, while also supporting the maintenance that the equipment requires. It is developed in two large spaces: the courtyard for the bus and a patio for passenger, located at a point of transition between an area of largescale facilities with industrial buildings and residential area. Reflecting its urban condition, the building introduces itself as infrastructure, in order to create a relation with its surroundings, with maximum focus on its function- serving the circulation system of Moura.
